Orologio francese Napoleone III, 1870-1880 ca. Bronzo dorato. Movimento parigino, con suoneria. Firmato "Pickard". Necessita di una revisione della macchina. Manca il pendolo. Misure: 49 x 31 x 11 cm. Orologio da tavolo di manifattura francese e del periodo di Napoleone III. Realizzato interamente in bronzo dorato, tranne il quadrante, è decorato con la scultura di una suora che legge la Bibbia accanto a una cappella. La giovane devota è vestita con un abbigliamento semplice ma raffinato. Il gruppo scultoreo si erge su un doppio piedistallo decorato con volute, bordi e medaglioni in rilievo. La sfera è numerata con numeri romani in nero su bianco.
