MANCHE. Scuola francese della fine del XIX secolo. Brocca, 1894 circa. Peltro argentato. Firmata a Parigi e datata 1894 sulla base. Peso: 2.000 g. Misure: 34 x 20 x 15 cm. Questo vaso, interamente realizzato in peltro, è un esempio paradigmatico dello stile Art Nouveau. Il suo design si distingue per l'armonia delle forme fluide e per un'estetica marcatamente naturalistica, che cattura l'essenza del movimento in ogni dettaglio. Raffigura una donna che tira fuori reti piene di crostacei e pesci con l'aiuto di un putti. Sotto il becco del vaso è raffigurata la testa di Nettuno, dio dei mari e degli oceani.
