Lehrbücher, 28; Bigmore & Wyman I, 298.- Prima edizione.- «È tra le migliori opere della letteratura specialistica del passato» (Lexikon des gesamten Buchwesens II, 272).- Benjamin Krebs era proprietario dell’omonima fonderia tipografica di Francoforte e della Libreria Andreä. Bigmore & Wyman indicano J.C. Bauer come autore, mentre Boghardt ritiene incerte entrambe le attribuzioni. Conosciuto come «Manuale Andreä», è stato per decenni l’opera di riferimento per i tipografi tedeschi.- Mancano 4 tavole, per il resto è un buon esemplare.
