Edizione originale: è illustrata con 2 acqueforti originali a colori firmate da Max Ernst. L’illustrazione comprende inoltre 25 litografie a colori di Max Ernst, stampate da Mourlot sulla base di disegni e frottage, di cui una sulla copertina. Tiratura limitata a 320 esemplari su carta velina d’Arches. Uno dei 25 esemplari contenenti una prova supplementare dell’acquaforte del frontespizio, stampata in 50 esemplari su carta giapponese perlata, firmata e numerata (n. 41).
