Francis PONGE. L’Asparagus. Losanna, Françoise Mermod, 1963. In-4, a fogli sciolti, copertina rinforzata, risma in mezzo-vellino e astuccio dell’editore. Prima edizione separata. È illustrata con 10 zincografie a colori di Fautrier nel testo, compreso il frontespizio. Le tavole doppie sono dipinte di verde sul retro. Si tratta dell’ultimo libro illustrato dall’artista. Tiratura limitata a 151 esemplari su carta del mulino di Richard de Bas, firmati dal poeta e dal pittore. Uno dei 23 esemplari che includono una litografia firmata (n. XIX). L’esemplare comprende, inoltre, un guazzo originale firmato, normalmente riservato ai primi 18 esemplari. (Coron, 50 libri illustrati dal 1947, 1988, n. 30.)
