WALTER EISLER (1954 Lipsia (nato come Walter Heisig) - 2015 ibidem) La città di fuoco, 1991 Olio su tela. 130 x 80 cm. Cornice dell’artista. Firmato in basso a sinistra. Sul retro è presente il titolo, la firma e la data (ricoperte di bianco) e l’opera è parzialmente incollata (circa 8 cm). Walter Eisler, figlio di Bernhard Heisig e fratello di Johannes Heisig, ha studiato all’Accademia di Arti Grafiche e di Libri di Lipsia, tra l’altro con suo padre, Arno Rink e Wolfgang Peuker. In «Die Feuerstadt», sullo sfondo della Scuola di Lipsia, l’esperienza del periodo della svolta si condensa in un’immagine espressiva del cambiamento. Lo spaventapasseri immobilizzato sovrasta un paesaggio urbano in dissoluzione, raffigurato con colori turbolenti.
