A Chinese very pale celadon jade 'axe' plaque
The plaque is carved in an archaic axe form, with the central panel carved to both sides with a mask between rows of squared scrolls and flanges. The plaque is surmounted by an openwork chilong. The stone is of an even pale tone. Condition: With tiny nicks to the edges. Origin: China Period: 20th century Sizes: 4.00 cm. W x 6.00 cm. D 1.57 in. W x 2.36 in. D
