Otto Wols (Otto Alfred Wolfgang Schulze, dit) (allemand, 1913-1951) Gesicht (Visage). (Pl. pour C. Bryen, Baleine-Ville, 1945). Pointe sèche et eau-forte. 95 x 115 [170 x 219]. Busch 25. Très belle épreuve sur vélin, annotée " Epreuve d'artiste " puis dédicacée " à Chatté " et signée au crayon. Très claire trace d'oxydation marginale. Annotation en pied au verso de la main d'Arsène Bonafous-Murat " Offert par le docteur V[adim] Cotlenko 04.78 ", signée de son paraphe. Toutes marges. Timbre AABM (Lugt 3075). Vadim Cotlenko (1918-1995), médecin de profession, ouvrit sur le tard une petite boutique d'estampes en face de celle d'Arsène Bonafous-Murat, rue de l'Échaudé (Paris 6e). Il était particulièrement féru des anciens graveurs ornemanistes. On connaît de ce sujet deux tirages posthumes (1962 et 1963), chacun à 50 épreuves, l'un comme carte d'invitation pour la galerie Europe.
