Artiste chilien vivant en Espagne, diplômé des Beaux-Arts, Manuel Terán a développé son travail créatif dans le domaine des arts plastiques et des nouvelles technologies appliquées à l'art. Depuis qu'il s'est fait connaître en 1995 au Salón de Otoño del Círculo de Bellas Artes à Santiago du Chili, il a organisé des expositions individuelles et participé à des expositions collectives et à des foires en Amérique latine et en Europe. Il a reçu des prix tels que celui de la Real Academia de San Carlos de Valencia (2004).
