Jonathan Kenworthy, Britannique, né en 1943 - Homme Pokot au repos, 1986 ; bronze, signé, daté et numéroté sur le socle « Kenworthy 1986 7/8 », estampillé du cachet de la fonderie, H 56 x L 21 x P 17,2 cm (ARR) Remarque : Kenworthy a fréquenté les écoles de la Royal Academy à partir de 1961, mais a également étudié l’anatomie au Royal Veterinary College, ce qui a peut-être nourri son intérêt et sa dextérité pour la sculpture d’animaux et de figures en mouvement. Il a utilisé une bourse de voyage « Schools Gold Medal » pour effectuer un premier voyage en Afrique, qui a donné lieu à des voyages annuels à travers le continent. Une exposition rétrospective intitulée « Six Decades of Sculpture » s’est tenue à la galerie Pangolin London, à Londres, en 2013.
