UNE AIGUILLE EN BRONZE DU KHORASAN, NORD-EST DE LA PERSIE, XIIe SIÈCLE Corps sphérique à épaulement s’élevant vers un col tubulaire légèrement évasé au bord, prolongeant d’un côté par une anse qui rejoint l’épaulement, reposant sur un pied court et arrondi, le corps est orné d’un panneau frontal voûté gravé de rinceaux entrelacés ; chaque flanc présente un médaillon gravé similaire ; une inscription bénédictoire en écriture coufique figure à la base du col ; une autre inscription coufique, plus grande, se trouve sous le bec verseur ; le poucier est en forme de grosse grenade ; la surface est patinée. Hauteur : 37 cm.
