In-12, maroquin rouge, triple filet doré encadrant les plats, fleuron aux angles, armoiries aux petits fers au centre, dos lisse orné, tranches dorées (reliure de l'époque). Infime manque à la coiffe de tête et deux coins légèrement émoussés, mais BEL EXEMPLAIRE EN MAROQUIN ROUGE AUX ARMES DE CHARLES LOUIS FRANÇOIS DE BARENTIN D'ARDIVILLIERS (1738-1819), premier président à la Cour des aides, futur garde des sceaux.
