Omega, Speedmaster Professional tropical dial, Réf. 145.022, n° 296060xx, vers 1969. Diam 40 mm A very fine and exceptional tropical brown step dial stainless steel chronograph, fixed tachymeter bezel, patinated luminous hands and indexes. Funtions : Hour, minute, permanent seconds, 30mn and 12h registers. Screw-down caseback engraved with the seahorse, calibre 861 manual winding movement protected by its dust cover. Accessories : None. Condition : Very attractive and even patina throughout the dial and luminous material, superficial micro-scratches throughout the case, bezel and case back. Movement running at the time of cataloguing. Models whose original black dial has evolved into this more or less pronounced brown are very rare. Our model has retained all its markings in the centre of the dial, while the minute track on the periphery has partially faded, giving it a decidedly vintage look that is much to be appreciated. One of the first Speedmasters produced with calibre 861.
