Hauteur 29 cm. Diametre 18 cm. Interieur double d une couche de cuivre. Ce morceau de moteur d avion a ete recupere par des moines afin d un faire un receptacle pour encens, communs dans tous les temples japonais. A noter une certaine usure et patine de la piece. Etat II+. Japanese aircraft engine cylinder converted into a temple incense receptacle. Aluminium with black painted base. Engraved cherry blossoms and mountain scenery around the cylinder. Height 29 cm. Diameter 18 cm. Interior lined with copper. Monks salvaged this aircraft engine component to make an incense holder of a type commonly found in Japanese temples. Some wear and patina. Condition II plus.
