SAND George (Aurore Dupin, baronne Dudevant, dite) [Paris, 1804 - Nohant, 1876], romancière française. Manuscrit autographe de l'œuvre « L'homme de campagne » composé en deux actes. Acte 1 : 48 pages in-4°, acte 2 : 46 pages in-4° ; nombreuses corrections et ratures à l'encre bleu. Georges Sand a écrit cette pièce en 1860 pour la saison théâtrale de Nohant. Cette pièce va ensuite être reprit dans son roman la Famille de Germandre. Magnifique manuscrit où on retrouve les dialogues des personnages. Est joint un manuscrit autographe broché intitulé « L'homme de campagne 2 actes » 30 pages in-8°. Écrit à l'encre noir avec des dialogues et des indications entre parenthèse. Peut-être le manuscrit de premier jet.
