820 - Testament van "Gerryt van Assendelfft". (1 maart 1546) -24 april 1547 2 dln aan elkaar genaaid, c. 43 x 31,5 cm: [1]-xv (= 15), [15, 1 bl.] ff., perkament, Nederlands, 2 rode waszegels (beschadigd). In goede staat. Deel 1 (uitvoerig testament), mede ondertekend door o.a. Otto van Malsen (†1558, secretaris van het Hof van Holland), Gerrit van Poelgeest (heer van "Homaede" [= Hoogmade]) en Willem vander Criep. Deel 2 bevat een gedetailleerde staat van goed, opgemaakt 1 maart 1546. Gerrit van Assendelft (1488-1558) was raadsheer en president van het Hof van Holland, heer van Assendelft, Heemskerk etc., mecenas van de cartograaf Jacob van Deventer enz. Hoewel hij zijn buitenechtelijke zoon Nicolaas vrijwel geheel onterfde, verwierf die later toch (even) Gerrits bezittingen. Ref. NNBW 7 (i.v. Assendelft, Gerrit van [4]).
