Description : Portrait de Louis-Auguste de Bourbon, duc du Maine, gravure réalisée par Pierre Drevet en 1703, d’après un tableau de François de Troy. Il était le fils illégitime de Louis XIV et de sa maîtresse officielle, Madame de Montespan. Portrait rare. Plus tard, après la mort de Louis XIV, le régent, Philippe d'Orléans, fit détruire la plaque de gravure. Très peu d’exemplaires ont survécu (source : Wikipédia, Guy Rowlands, *The Dynastic State and the Army under Louis XIV* (Cambridge University Press, 2002). Gravure en excellent état. Très belle impression foncée sur papier vergé avec des marges de 15 à 20 mm. Avec un filigrane. Dimensions : 32,7 cm x 21,6 cm État : Chaque gravure rare est en excellent état.
