Quelques traces de manipulation. La Maison Kim-Thanh était une fonderie au Viêt-Nam avec des succursales à Hanoï, à Saïgon, à Phnom-Penh ou à Hong Kong. En Indochine, l'or servait pour les gros paiements et circulait parallèlement à l'étalon argent imposé par les Européens.
