Le couvercle orné du chiffre calligraphié de Muhammad III as-Sadiq, plus couramment appelé Sadok Bey (1813-1882), bey de Tunis de 1859 à 1882, en diamants montés sur argent. Poinçon Mercure pour l'exportation (1840-1879) et de maître orfèvre : Louis-François Tronquoy (insculpé en 1827) Epoque XIXème, vers 1860. Largeur : 9.5 cm - Hauteur : 6 cm - Poids brut : 239.8 g (Petits accidents, on y joint un monture intérieure adaptée formant nécessaire à maquillage) Provenance: – Prosper, marquis de Chasseloup-Laubat (1805-1873), homme politique qui fut notamment ministre des Colonies. – Par descendance jusqu'à ce jour.
