Cette gravure originale vieille de 200 ans, représentant la nef de l'abbaye Saint-Étienne de Caen, est tirée de l'ouvrage *Architectural Antiquities of Normandy* de John Sell Cotman. Publiée à Londres par J. & A. Arch en 1822. Cette gravure à fond mou est réalisée sur du papier vélin crème avec de larges marges. John Sell Cotman (1782-1842) fut l’un des artistes les plus importants de l’âge d’or de l’aquarelle anglaise. Dimensions : 19,5 pouces x 28 pouces (49,5 cm x 71 cm) La gravure est en excellent état – veuillez examiner attentivement l'image afin de repérer d'éventuelles traces liées à l'âge.
