Puccini félicite son correspondant qui entame une carrière de professeur de chant. Transcription : « So che sei stato a Trovarmi. Ti rengrazio del pensiero gentile. Ho saputo anche che tu ti sei dati all'insegnamento del canto. Nessuno meglio di te conoce il contegno scenico e il bel cantare nostro. Ti auguro la fortuna che meriti e ti saluti [ ] ». Traduction : « Je sais que vous êtes venu me rendre visite. Je vous remercie de cette délicate attention. J'ai également appris que vous aviez commencé à enseigner le chant. Personne ne maîtrise mieux que vous la présence scénique et notre bel canto. Je vous souhaite le succès que vous méritez et vous adresse mes amitiés [ ] ».
