La garde porte le marquage USM3 Case, lame fortement affutee. Fourreau du 1er type avec marquage USM8 BMCo sur la chape metallique, extremite du fourreau fragilise par une petite fissure. A l arriere du fourreau un soldat a grave son nom Jonhal L. US M3 Case fighting knife. The grip retains all of its leather washers, although five are damaged on the upper side. The pommel bears numbers stamped by the French Army. The guard is marked “USM3 CASE”. The blade has been heavily sharpened. Firsttype scabbard with “USM8 BMCo” marking on the metal throat. The tip of the scabbard is weakened by a small crack. On the reverse of the scabbard, a soldier has engraved his name, “Jonhal L.”
