Info : l’atelier d’ébénisterie Ludwig Alter était le fournisseur officiel de mobilier de la cour d’Ernst Ludwig IV, grand-duc de Hesse-Darmstadt, et a réalisé des créations de mobilier pour la colonie d’artistes Mathildenhöhe de Darmstadt ; il a collaboré avec des artistes Art nouveau de renom de la Mathildenhöhe tels que Patriz Huber, Peter Behrens, Joseph Maria Olbrich et Albin Müller.
