Un Colt modèle 1877 « Lightning » Calibre .380 Long, n° 5715, numéro identique à l'exception de la trappe de chargement (n° 262). Canon rayé présentant un bon profil de tir/de terrain, longueur 3½". Sur le canon, inscription de la marque sur deux lignes, avec la mention « Depot 14. Pall Mall London » (rare !), à gauche « COLT D.A. 38 ». Sur le cadre, côté gauche, indications de brevet sur trois lignes. Six coups. À gauche sur la garde de détente, indication du calibre « 38 CAL ». Brunissage d'origine sur le canon, le barillet et la crosse, usé par endroits, tacheté et patiné. Cadre et chien trempés en couleur. Coques de crosse en bois de rose d'une seule pièce avec motif « peau de poisson ». Seulement environ 1 500 exemplaires (moins de 1 %) ont été fabriqués avec l'adresse londonienne.
