Un fusil superposé de la manufacture Gebrüder Merkel, Suhl Calibre 16/70, n° 44469, numéros concordants. Canons brillants à mat, une marque sur le canon supérieur, longueur 71 cm. Certificat de tir de Suhl valable datant de 1956. Double verrouillage des canons avec culasse Kersten, sans aucun jeu. Inscription « Gebrüder Merkel / Suhl » à la base du canon à gauche et en bas de la bascule en acier, flanquée à gauche et à droite de petites gravures. Sécurité coulissante au niveau du col de crosse. Double détente. Crosse arrière avec poignée pistolet allongée et jouette allemande. Avec une sangle de fusil en cuir tressé. Longueur totale : 113 cm.
