MONTESQUIOU (Robert de), 1855-1921. L.A.S. "RM", sl, "vendredi", 2 pp. et 1/3 in-folio au crayon bleu, avec enveloppe (cachet postal Paris, 26/12/1909), à Monsieur de Richter. Amusante lettre "gastronomique". Il doit lui expliquer "une malice cousue de fil blanc, qui était le remerciement de ce [qu'il avait] annoncé". "[...] A peine ma lettre était-elle partie que sont apparues les primeurs. Il m'a bien fallu prolonger mon séjour pour tenir tête à toutes ces bonnes choses. Mais je mets les bouchées doubles, et j'en viendrai à bout." En post-scriptum : "En rentrant vous allez trouver mes prières, qui vous attendent. Pour votre pénitence de m'induire à 'la dannosa colpa della gola' vous réciterez sept fois, la Prière du Cuisinier".
