LEBLANC (Maurice), 1864-1941. L.A.S. ""Maurice Leblanc"", sl, 11 février 1915, 2 pp. in-8, à un ami. Intéressante lettre du père d'Arsène Lupin relative au grand écrivain belge Maurice MAETERLINCK (1862-1949), prix Nobel de littérature en 1911 et beau-frère de Maurice Leblanc. Son téléphone étant en réparation, il transmet ainsi la réponse négative de Maeterlinck pour la conférence, malgré les efforts de son épouse Georgette (née Leblanc donc). ""[...] La conférence est pour lui non pas seulement un supplice mais une impossibilité physique. Au bout de quelques minutes, sa voix s'étrangle au point qu'on n'entend plus un mot de ce qu'il dit. [...] "" Maurice Leblanc en donne pour preuve la conférence de Milan, qui fut lue par un député belge ""[...] et non par lui, comme on l'a cru [...]"".
