La paroi ovoïde, en deux parties, est ornée des deux côtés d’un cygne ainsi que, sur l’autre face, d’un émail cloisonné aux couleurs vives sur fond poinçonné. Bord intérieur orné de pseudo-marques. Repose sur un socle amovible doré muni de trois pieds en forme de pattes d'animal. Hauteur avec socle : 9,5 cm. Poids total : 168,7 g ou 147,9 g (œuf seul). Très beau travail d'émail.
