La Lamentation Chêne. Groupe de quatre figures aplati à l'arrière, provenant sans doute d'un retable. Entre Jean et Marie-Madeleine, Marie, affalée, tient le corps du Crucifié sur ses genoux. Un avant-bras du Christ est manquant, de même que la main levée de Marie-Madeleine ; le bout du nez de Marie-Madeleine a été remplacé ; il y a une petite cassure au coin droit du socle et au niveau des orteils du pied du Christ ; le visage de Jean a peut-être été retouché ultérieurement. H 33,5, L 31 cm. Utrecht, cercle d’Adriaen van Wesel, fin du XVe siècle. Provenance Depuis 1995, collection privée en Belgique.
