Tapis KASHGAI Iran. milieu du 20e siècle. Velours en laine sur fondations en laine. Un large contre champ cerise, oblong et hexagonal, crocheté et dentelé, couvert de réseaux d'étoiles des Mèdes, de formes entomiques, de fleurettes et de « S », supporte un médaillon central crocheté, polychrome à forme entomique stylisées. Le champ anthracite recouvert de petits symboles polychromes, accueille quatre formes hexagonales ivoire, crochetées, flamboyantes à formes d'insectes, qui font office d'écoinçons.
