Baren Basu, bangladais, né en 1943 Sans titre, 1990 Plume, encre et aquarelle, signé et daté en haut à gauche Monté, sous verre et encadré, 61,5 x 41 cm (24 x 16 pouces) Baren Basu est né à Dacca en 1943 et s'est installé en Inde après la partition. Il a obtenu son diplôme au Government College of Art & Craft de Calcutta en 1967 et a reçu la bourse culturelle nationale en peinture de son alma mater en 1972-1973. Il a participé à de nombreuses expositions individuelles et collectives et a reçu de nombreuses distinctions, notamment de la Lalit Akademy de New Delhi.
