Belle œuvre d'après-guerre de Max Ackermann (1887-1975), qui entreprit en 1953 un voyage d'étude en Provence à la recherche de la « plante originelle ». La même année, il exposa à la Galerie Arnaud à Paris, où il noua des contacts avec Henri Laurens, Sonia Delaunay et Hans Hartung. - Monté au verso sur du carton dans les coins supérieurs ; légèrement plus jauni dans l'ancienne découpe du passe-partout. - Provenance : provenant de la succession de la famille Ackermann.
