Chine - Album contenant 182 photographies originales de Chine, pour la plupart montées. Tirages vintage. Gélatine d'argent. Vers 1900-1910. Album : 37 x 31 cm. Toile reliée par un cordon (abîmée, usée). Les tirages sont pour la plupart au format 6 x 8,5 cm à 9 x 15 cm. On distingue le nom « Kiautschou » sur un ruban de casquette. On y voit des marins allemands et leurs familles, le gouverneur Meyer-Waldeck, des bâtiments de toutes sortes, des paysages, des bureaux saccagés (après la révolte des Boxers ?) entre autres. L'album provenait de la collection du marin August Grethe (né en 1884, entrée dans la marine en 1906, aspirant en 1912). – Parfois un peu pâle, rares petits dommages superficiels, globalement en bon état. #
