Filippo Anivitti, Italien, 1876-1955- Nature morte aux pommes et vases sur un rebord ; huile sur toile, signée « F. ANIVITTI » (en bas à gauche), 46 x 65,5 cm. Provenance : Collection privée, Italie, puis transmise par succession. Collection privée, Royaume-Uni. Note : Anivitti a suivi une formation à l’Académie des Beaux-Arts de Rome sous la direction de Filippo Prosperi (1831-1913), et a également étudié auprès d’Alessandro Morani (1859-1941). Il représentait souvent des vues de Rome, revenant à plusieurs reprises sur le thème de la place d’Espagne, notamment dans une œuvre vendue chez Christie’s, à Londres, le 28 avril 2010, lot 322 (6 875 £), ou encore une autre vendue chez Hampel, à Munich, le 23 mars 2007, lot 546 (6 000 € adjugés).
