FRANCESC BORDAS (Sabadell, 1957). « Étude pour un nu », mai 1988. Huile sur toile. Signée, datée et intitulée dans le coin inférieur droit. Dimensions : 94 x 143 cm ; 100,5 x 149,5 cm (avec cadre). Francisco Bordas fait partie de ce qu’on appelle la « génération des artistes de Sabadell des années 1980 ». Profondément ancré dans sa ville natale, Francisco Bordas s’est construit une longue carrière dans l’art contemporain, évoluant de ses premières œuvres paysagères et figuratives vers son orientation actuelle vers l’art conceptuel et l’abstraction géométrique. Son œuvre a été régulièrement exposée en Catalogne et en France. Ses œuvres sont actuellement présentées dans des galeries à Barcelone, Rome, Minsk et Paris.
