Collage original signé à Erich Buchholz. 14 x 9 cm, fixée sur un carton de support portant une inscription manuscrite de Buchholz, 21 x 13,5 cm. Collage constitué de papiers divers appliqués sur une carte postale reproduisant l'œuvre de Schwitters intitulée «Trauernde» (Femme en deuil). Au verso : texte autographe signé de Hannah Höch et salutations signées de Kurt et Helma Schwitters. 26 décembre 1922. Carte postale envoyée par Hannah Höch et le couple Schwitters, agrémentée d'un collage original. Au verso : adresse de Erich Buchholz et texte au crayon de Hannah Höch : « Cette carte vous montre que je me trouve dans la «Merzschwitterei» à Hanovre et que je ne peux donc malheureusement pas répondre à votre invitation. Je vous prie toutefois de profiter de... [illisible] et vous adresse mes amitiés, Hannah Höch... ». Avec un ajout à l'encre de Kurt Schwitters (« Cordiales salutations, Kurt Schwitters ») et la signature de Helma Schwitters.
