Seconde Guerre mondiale : Opération Vengeance (10) Photographie d’un P-38 Lightning signée par plusieurs pilotes – Pilotes de la mission Yamamoto Photographie vintage au format 10 x 8, finition mate, représentant une formation de Lockheed P-38 Lightning, signée à l’encre par dix pilotes ayant participé à l’opération Vengeance, la mission d’avril 1943 visant à intercepter et à éliminer l’amiral japonais Isoroku Yamamoto : le commandant de mission John W. Mitchell, Rex T. Barber, Besby F. Holmes, Thomas G. Lanphier, Jr., Delton Goerke, Roger Ames, Louis Kittel, Doug Canning, Lawrence Graebner et Julius « Jack » Jacobson. Mitchell et Barber indiquent leurs grades d’anciens membres de l’armée de l’air, et Graebner ajoute « No Cameras » au-dessus de sa signature. En très bon à excellent état, avec quelques légères rousseurs et taches éparses, ainsi qu’une légère perte de matière au coin supérieur gauche.
