Provenance : collection Laurent Danchin (1946-2017) écrivain, essayiste et critique d'art, par descendance familiale. Pâtissier de 1978 à 1997, Joël Lorand se consacre ensuite entièrement au dessin, composant au graphite et au pastel des œuvres denses peuplées de visages hypnotiques et de créatures hybrides, organisées en séries comme « Personnages floricoles ».
