UN UNIFORME DE CÉRÉMONIE DE LA MARINE ROYALE POUR UN LIEUTENANT-COMMANDANT, FABRIQUÉ PAR GIEVES LTD, VERS 1935 comprenant une redingote et un pantalon, accompagnés d’un chapeau bicorne, d’épaulettes et d’une ceinture, le tout rangé dans un coffret en tôle doublé de peluche, ainsi qu’une épée de service munie d’une boucle en fil métallique ; accompagné d’une boîte conique en tôle contenant deux chapeaux à bord plat et des épaulettes correspondant au grade de contre-amiral (un lot) Provenance : contre-amiral John Yelverton Thompson, puis transmis par succession. La redingote est en bon état ; la lame de l'épée est rouillée sur toute sa longueur et la dorure est usée.
