Cette œuvre étonnante est magnifiquement exécutée à l'aquarelle sur une feuille blanc cassé de 5,25 x 12,5. Elle a probablement été réalisée dans le cadre d'une proposition formelle pour la commande d'un vitrail d'une église ou d'une cathédrale ; elle ne semble pas avoir été actualisée. Monté, maté et encadré pour un format total de 14 x 22. En très bon état. Une peinture originale magistrale et très détaillée, réalisée par un brillant coloriste.
