Tabatière en jaspe à décor des He-he Er Xian, Chine, 1820-1880 De forme arrondie, le jaspe aux tonalités verte et ocre-rouge est sculpté sur une face dans une veine opaque jaune ocre des He-he Er Xian, immortels symbolisant l’union et l’harmonie. L’un est agenouillé et tient un panier d’où s’échappe un nuage sur lequel repose une pièce de monnaie alors que son acolyte, debout au-dessus de lui sur une feuille de lotus, tente d’attraper la sapèque. Au revers est sculptée en très léger relief une fleur d’iris poussant sur un rocher. Bouchon en os. Hauteur : 6,7 cm Provenance : Vente Millon-Jutheau, Hôtel Drouot, 2 juillet 1984, lot n°140 (Illustré).
