Avec un fourreau en mauvais état, cuir sec, décousu. Chape laiton régimentée au 101. Reserve Regiment saxon. La baïonnette ne rentre pas complètement dans le fourreau de 3 cm. Usure, patine. German M1860 and M1871 bayonets. M1860 bayonet dated 1861, regimental marking on crossguard difficult to read, beginning M, possibly Mecklenburg or Magdeburg. Second mark 17.D.580 on brass grip. Oxidation, no scabbard. M1871 bayonet with blade dated 1874, crossed-out 27.R. regimental mark on crossguard. Oxidation on blade. Poor-condition scabbard with dry, unstitched leather. Brass throat marked to Saxon 101st Reserve Regiment. Bayonet does not fully enter scabbard by 3 cm. Wear and patina.
