Phonographe Pathé "Coquet". France, vers 1905. Bois et métal peint. Dans une boîte en bois, avec poignée. Dimensions : 24 x 26 x 17 cm ; 40 x 26 x 17 x 17 cm (boîte). Le modèle Coquet est un phonographe fabriqué en 1903 par la marque parisienne Pathé, avec deux cylindres rotatifs interchangeables. Il possède un diaphragme en bakélite et un pavillon en métal. Il possède une boîte en bois rectangulaire avec le nom du modèle gravé sur la face avant. Il conserve son coffret en bois d'origine. Dans ce modèle, Pathé introduit le système Orpheus, où le graveur et le pavillon avant sont réunis, et incorpore un adaptateur interchangeable pour cylindres standard et de salon qui permet de graver et de jouer des cylindres de dimensions différentes avec la même machine.
