Intérieur marqué à l’or de la Maison KENDALL 17 RUE DE LA PAIX PARIS. Intérieur doublé de moire verte à deux compartiments dont un porte-carte ; usures d’usage Il contient deux L.A.S de Césarine DENISOT, la gouvernante du comte, à Jean Mermoz en mai et novembre 1930. Une des deux lettres explique le don par la gouvernante du portefeuille du comte « quand il était à Paris » avec l’accord de la cousine germaine du comte Germanie de LA VAULX. A rare wallet of comte Henry de La Vaulx, founder of the Aero-Club de France Provenance : - Comte Henry de La Vaulx (1870-1930) ; - Donné par sa gouvernante, Césarine Denisot, à son ami Jean Mermoz, avec l’accord de la cousine germaine du comte ; - Resté dans la famille de Jean Mermoz jusqu’à nos jours.
