In overall fine condition. Based on Isaac Bashevis Singer's short story 'Yentl the Yeshiva Boy,' Yentl, starring Barbra Streisand, is a 1983 musical drama about a young Jewish woman in early 20th century Poland who disguises herself as a man to receive an education in Talmudic law. Streisand not only played the lead role but also directed, co-wrote, and co-produced the film, making history as the first woman to win the Golden Globe for Best Director. The film explores themes of gender identity, religious tradition, and the pursuit of knowledge, all set to a memorable soundtrack featuring songs performed by Streisand herself.
