Father-in-law of the universal Master of the Spanish Baroque Don Diego de Velázques, his painting, sweetly made and undoubtedly Mannerist that drank from the flamenco artistic currents that arrived in Seville at the time, softened somewhat after his trip to Madrid, El Escorial and Toledo, in 1611.
