Et maintenant une sélection d'œuvres extraordinaires, sur des cartons souvent estampillés au dos L' artistica, un magasin historique de beaux-arts de la Via del Babuino à Rome dans les années 1950 et 1960. Un répertoire très rare de planches représentant une expérience visuelle et une contamination qui a duré quelques années, de la fin des années 1950 à 1965, presque exclusivement conçues pour le marché français, pour des revues telles que Star Cine Cosmos et Le film du coer. Elles ont été sélectionnées et créées par un brillant artiste et éditeur comme Franco Bozzesi, qui a également impliqué dans son atelier des auteurs comme Ermanno Iaia et Franco Fiorenzi. Collage, papier photographique fin découpé et façonné, retouché sur le dessus avec de la peinture à la détrempe et d'autres ombres appliquées sur des cartons robustes. Il ne s'agit pas exactement de cineromanzo, mais d'une forme innovante en termes de profondeur, de perspective et d'inventions qui ramène le cinéma de ces années à un grand melò. Des œuvres uniques nées des cineraccones des années 40 qui se rapprochaient du photoromanzo, la saison dorée (avec le ballon actuel) a probablement commencé avec le "Super cinéma", fin 1950 (première sortie Il brigante Musolino) et l'apogée a eu lieu au milieu de la décennie : "Fotoromanzo gigante", "I grandi films-I capolavori dello schermo", "Amica film", "I tuoi film-romanzo" sont nés et sont morts.La série que nous présentons ici, très rare, de l'art de Franco Bozzesi mentionne certainement le "Cineromanzo gigante" publié par Lanterna Magica, en fait une émanation des productions De Laurentiis, ainsi que des productions Apollon, ils utilisent aussi beaucoup de photos de plateau, ont un auteur qui signe les textes (Mara Baldeva), un grand format, un excellent papier et sortent parfois en même temps que les films (pour La donna del fiume de Soldati encore plus tôt), en synergie avec les productions de la maison.Mais Franco Bozzesi va plus loin, il n'utilise pas le ballon dans ces planches, mais expérimente plutôt des vignettes avec un effet ombré et des croisements de collages et de perspectives. Des œuvres uniques d'un artiste éditeur qui a décidé de tenter une nouvelle voie en France pour quelques années glorieuses, croisant aussi les chemins de la Nouvelle Vague de Jean-Luc Godard.
