Un grand volume de texte "Deutsche Gedenkhalle" et une collection de "Illustrierte Zeitung". Volume grand format de 418 pages partiellement illustrées, entre autres par Julius von Pflugk-Harttung, Max Herzig, Hugo Tschudi ou Paul Bailleu, imprimé par la maison d'édition Vaterland, Berlin, Leipzig o. J. (env. 1905), reliure originale brune estampée à l'argent (un peu frottée), dimensions 46 x 37 x 5,5 cm. En plus, une collection d'environ 70 numéros de l'"Illustrierte Zeitung" dont plus de 20 numéros de guerre, non consécutifs, pour la plupart des volumes de 1940 du temps de guerre. En partie légèrement endommagés, traces d'âge. En général bien conservés avec des aperçus passionnants de l'époque (événements de guerre, propagande, culture, publicité). Eine Seite mit Einriss im Motiv. Bemerkenswerte Sammlung wunderschöner handkolorierter Photogravuren mit Stadtansichten, darunter eine Reihe von Goldminen und anderen Industrieanlagen. Der Photograph wird weder auf den Bildern noch im Text erwähnt. With 117 finely handcoloured photogravures after photographs, of which 35 large panoramic views. Some of the cardboard leaves with letterpress text on verso. Publisher's richly decorated cloth binding, front cover with an inlaid handcoloured view of the Victoria Falls, surrounded by an embossed and handcoloured view of African wildlife with a lion, an elephant, a crocodile, a giraff, and a hippo. All edges gilt. Rear paste-down with publisher's gilt stamped address (rubbed, brass clasp missing). - Cf. Sidney Mendelssohn. South African Bibliography, with with several variable compositions of this album differing in bindings and in selections of photographs. - Faint foxing here and there, mostly confined to white margins, first plate more severe and affecting image. One page with tear affecting motif. A remarkable collection of beautifully handcoloured photogravures, with views of towns and cities and including several gold mines and other industrial sites. Insgesamt wohlerhalten. Arabic literature - Cont. half cloth with gilt title on spine (slightly rubbed a. bumped, title on spine somewhat faded). - Rare, currently for us not verifiable in international trade. - The English part is paginated from left to right, the Arabic from right to left. - Although a translation was apparently planned for a second volume, only a reproduction of the Arabic text of the poems was published in this first volume. - Endpapers and title page with owner's stamp, the endpapers also somewhat browned and lightly foxed, only occasional minimally stained. Overall well preserved.

Rare grande montre de poche à fusée à verge d'Oignon en argent datant des années 1600. Bon équilibre au centre du mouvement, le vent tourne rapidement puis s'arrête, ce qui demande de l'attention. Le boîtier et le cadran peuvent être postérieurs au mouvement.
