Die Handschrift war ein Geschenk Heinrichs III. an die Domherren in Speyer. Die prachtvolle, in Goldtinte gestaltete Schrift des Evangeliars sollte Gutenberg als Vorbild für seine Druckschrift dienen. - Sehr gutes Exemplar.
