97 positive stereo plates on glass concerning World War I. In 4 boxes with label "Lumière & Jougla", ms. legends in French on the glass plates, original viewer included. Very good condition. Box 1 (23 pcs): a destroyed zeppelin in Revigny, retreat to Dormans, Gruerie Forest, German trenches, convoy of prisoners in Courcelles, prison camp Somme 1916, prisoners of the Americans in Château-Thierry, destroyed church of Barcy, Fort Verny, destroyed factory in La Fère, mobilisation of Alsatians, remains near Verdun, trenches in Calonne, "corvée de pinard" in the Vosges. Box 2 (26 pcs): trenches on Mount Cornillet, dead bodies in Laffaux, the capture of Courcelles 1918, liaison agent in Craonne, trenches towards Carency, bombardment of Parroy Forest, the citadel of Verdun, Jean Chaput and his 11th victim. Chaput (1893-1918) was a French World War I flying ace credited with 16 aerial victories. He was killed in action on 6 May 1918.
